UK Chalk Figure Gets Fresh Chalk To Stay Bright In Rain

A famous chalk figure in the UK is getting new chalk. It is on the ground and people can see it from far away. The figure is known as a “rude” chalk drawing. But rain can wash chalk away. So National Trust staff and volunteers will add fresh chalk. They will use 17 tonnes of chalk to redraw the outline. This will help the figure last longer and stay clear. The work will happen soon, so visitors can still enjoy it.
