Turtle Doves Released To Help Prevent Extinction

Conservation groups released turtle doves in the UK. They did this to help stop the birds from dying out. More than two dozen birds were set free in the South Downs National Park. This park is in the south of England. The groups hope the birds will live, find food, and make new babies. They also want to increase the number of turtle doves in the wild. Protecting wildlife like this can take time, but every release is a step forward.
