A new report says social media can hurt how people feel. The World Happiness Reports looked at time spent on social apps. It found that when people use social media for more hours, their wellbeing often goes down. This means happiness and life satisfaction can be weaker. The report suggests that too much scrolling may have a negative effect on mental health. It does not say social media is always bad, but it warns that heavy use may be harmful. People may want to use it less and take breaks.
