This summer was very hot. Many lakes and rivers had less water. Because the water went down, people could see more trash. A group of volunteers used this chance to clear litter from the lake. They picked up things like plastic and other waste near the shore. This work helps keep the water clean. It also helps animals that live in and near the lake. The hot weather made the job easier for the volunteers, even though it is not good for nature.
