Ex-BBC Presenter Questions Royal Family’s Role In New Documentary

John Humphrys, a well-known former BBC presenter, is now making a new documentary. He previously hosted “Today” and the “Nine O’Clock News.” The new project is for Channel 4, and Humphrys is the head of the documentary. The film focuses on the Royal Family and asks a direct question: what is their real role in today’s society? Humphrys raises concerns and encourages debate about how the monarchy is viewed by the public. The documentary explores different opinions, including why some people still support the Royal Family and why others question its place. By presenting these ideas, it aims to help viewers think more deeply about tradition, public life, and modern expectations.
