bt has agreed to buy talktalk. this is a rescue deal for the broadband company. talktalk has millions of customers. the deal can give them more certainty. it means customers may not worry as much about the future. but the takeover is not final yet. a regulator must approve it first. after that, the purchase can move ahead. if approval comes, bt will take over talktalk’s broadband business.
