Anthropic has updated its user rules for its AI systems. The company says users can no longer engage in “sustained and needless” abusive behavior. In other words, people may use the technology, but they must not keep attacking it with harmful or cruel actions. Anthropic is trying to set clearer limits on how people interact with the system. The firm also wants to reduce misuse and protect the AI experience for everyone. While the AI can be tested and questioned, repeated harassment is not allowed. If a user violates the policy, Anthropic may restrict or remove their access. The change shows how AI companies are tightening safety standards.
